Shade is a Mom!

Sorry for the disappearance since March. I was pregnant and hormonal and going through ups and downs with my bf…

I had a high risk pregnancy until about 30 weeks and let me say that I worried about everythaaannngggg!!

When I didn’t feel the same movements from baby as usual I went to the hospital a week before my scheduled c-section. He was fine and I was actually contracting without knowing or feeling it!

Now I may or may not have mentioned it, but I had a daughter born 22 weeks Sept 4th 2017 and she passed Sept 11th 2017….emergency c section.

I had major baby fever after and wanted a baby to hold so I wanted to try again and that I did!

My handsome baby boy was born June 21st at 4:33pm. So precious ❤ (Pics maybe laterrr)

He is 4 months now and a mommy’s boy!!! I LOOOVVVEEEE IT!!! It’s part from breastfeeding, part from holding him all the time which is why he is all up on mommy! Hehe

The best times are the snuggles! We started with tummy cuddles and now we co-sleep. I missed placing him on my tummy and falling asleep like that at 1st but now co-sleeping is easier!

Dad works and hardly participated but it wasn’t until recently that I make him little by little by going to the store and getting my hair done. BUT he works so I accept it as Im not working right now.

Dad has finally bonded and now our son loves him and cries for him sometimes (but loves me more)

Our relationship has gotten better. We don’t argue, we are understanding each other. I didn’t have much of a sex drive at 1st. I was allll baby & I’m sure my mothers out there can relate. Now it is creepin back slowly and YES I’M ON BIRTH CONTROL! Noneed for another too soon and I like having my body back (just not the boobs, those are his) Everything is falling into place. Maybe it’s the baby 😁.

His name is Junior *nickname* (He’s named after his father)

I am also taking 1 online class at a time at Southern New Hampshire University!! Master’s in English Creative Writing! (I’ll discuss in New Post)

I miss my bloggers soooo much! I’ll try to be more active now that I have energy :P.

Is This the Toughest Season?!

Why is it that when tax season comes around, it seems a bit stressful?

Lord!

Especially when your mind is as crowded or clouded I should say as mine!

I swear I am only 27 yrs old and I experienced enough stress to last me to 80!!!

My brain is constantly frazzled and fried and I can’t remember daily tasks!

WTF!

Anywho….

I can’t seem to remember if I kept my w2 from last year or chucked it in spirit of I didn’t need it anymore!

We moved in Nov so I was cleaning all my old paperwork before we moved….

Apart of me feels like I chucked it (and regrets it currently)

and then I also feel like I hid it.

Confusing right?

From “curfews” to budgeting (but you can’t tell them to budget their own money oh no), to cooking & cleaning to many more but my most recent fav….

About a month ago I subbed this gov lady in my post cuz her man was pretending to be my man and she “so called researched” and found my blog as a connection to him. Hmm how? If his name isn’t tagged in my posts and the only way you do that is if you have his first and last name which you must have got from ya fake lyin’ ass man and searched fb to get to me as well…… My man found out cuz it was his best friend’s brother…his bestie was talkin’ so much shit about my blog and his ass don’t read it either!

Long story short, my bf was all “don’t talk about me”

I am taking on new challenges for myself this year.

I am going to write my book. So I can call it accomplished and love it when it’s printed!

I had the luxury of knowing a beautiful contestant of this year’s pageant contest!

She’s been my friend since High school. Can you believe it?! That’s about 15 years if we met Freshman year…can’t really remember lol

She’s also an owner of her very own Notary Public! *Applause* and Attends University of Pittsburgh! She’s doing big things!

I’ve been watching her journey and she’s been so dedicated, it’s a shame she didn’t win!

Does society already know what type of girl they want?

I started this blog in 2015 so it can motivate me to stay active in my writing and get back into writing these books I keep claiming I am working on, yet I don’t have the time because work or some other life event I feel gets in my way.

Over time I have made such beautiful friends and read some amazing blogs!

I have lost touch with a lot of my favorite blogs because I have been so busy with life! Ugh! I made a promise to myself to get back into gear and catch up with my reader on WP of those that I adore and NEW followers as well!

Men seem to always want to tell women when to be home and when to do other things BUT when it comes to them, they want freedom to do as they please?!!

They call being home at 11pm a safety reason.

So then you should be home too.

When I used to go out with my friends I would come home at 1am from the bars.

I was never too drunk to get home.

But back to the matter at hand…..

That Time I…..

Saw the moon way too close!

I was in Wal-Mart in Iowa about 4 yrs ago wit my ex and when we came out….

BAM! 

Immediately frightened!!

The MOON was Waaayyyyy too huge for me to feel protected.

I thought the world was over.

I am sure I even checked fb and google to be sure….

Why was the MOON so damn big!!???

I’ve never seen it soooooo close to where it felt like I could touch it.

OMG!

I closed my eyes and then opened them slowly, trying to appreciate the beauty. 

Damn! It’s Just A Co-Worker!

When is it never acceptable to talk to co workers??!!

Oooooo I love a good rant and I think I am overdue for one!

Ladies and Gentleman,

Why is it that people always feel a type of way about having co-workers as friends?

It becomes either a stereotype or some male’s way of thinking because they are insecure.

I been dating bae for 2 and a half years and we had many disagreements about being friends with co-workers.

Just because he is anti-social, does that mean I have to be???

NO!!!

Who died and made him GOD?

Sorry, No one.

And I ask him this all the time especially in arguments.

Because no one has the right to tell someone to do something and expect it to get done cuz they like things a certain way.

Anywho…..

I think it’s not a big deal to be cordial with co-workers.

Hell! Sometimes you can make best friends out of co-workers!!! 

Ugh Life Sucks Without Cable!

Have u ever had the struggle?!

Where things clash at once and you have to pick yourself back up?

Like light bill got cut off or in my case

CABLE!

I’m not gonna lie we are behind on payments and lord let me tell u

Okay!

For TWO WEEKS I had no cable!
I watch so many show that I NEED it!

I could barely use my laptop how I want cuz with no cable means no Wifi soooo I was using my mobile hotspot

And to use it on the laptop I have to plug my phone up because it isn’t working wirelessly!

Soooooo annoying!!!!

Here’s how my week went:

I slept allllll week the 1st week mostly and binged Family Guy on Netflix

Then the following week when that was over, I watched this corny cartoon called Big Mouth just to have something to do.

I also seen 2 movies.

I have most TV apps on my phone so when shows were on when I remembered, I seen them on my phone.

When hubby was at work was be sooooo bored!!

Television really hypnotizes people….

We moved from one borough to the next last week and FINALLY after 24 hours we got cable!!

I was in the crib like

Buuutttt unfortunately changing the settings on the cable made the TV go into standby!

We had optimum, but switched to RCN (Residential Communications Network) because it was cheaper. It has Tivo…remember Tivo??! I guess it is too powerful for the TV.

WHATTTT???!

Anyways sooooo once again I went a while without cable!

Whhhyyyy does God hate me!? Lol

But I watch my shows on the apps.

And I binge Orange is the New Black and I am already on Season 2. Pretty crazy so far. 

When cable comes back on, I am going to be more cautious with the settings and everything so it won’t happen again.

RCN’s technician is HERE and then cable will be back hopefully they can fix it!

Or we need a new TV……
